Five years ago, parents walked into the beautiful SUIS hand in hand with their young and innocent children. They were full of curiosity and anxiety, eager to explore everything around them. But now, as they stand in front of the graduation hall, our soon-to-be graduates have transformed into confident and spirited young individuals, with smiles on their faces radiating the same brilliance as the morning sun at eight or nine.
The passage of time may fade many memories, but it can never erase the countless little moments of growth they have experienced together. Over the past five years, they have laughed and cried together, tasted both success and failure. Every corner of the campus bears witness to their journey of exploration. Each certificate and every bit of progress represents their collective effort and fills us with pride.
Throughout these five years, the school leaders have always been there, attentively watching over our students’ healthy and joyful growth, providing them with meticulous care. Principal Jenny Chen’s profound and enthusiastic words have encouraged them to strive for higher goals and a brighter future.
Please be remembered, teachers and parents will gradually turn to become the companions of your voyage, and you will eventually set out on your own, facing upwind, with determination and faith, until reaching your final aspiration.
During the students’growth, their parents have been their unwavering support, providing them with immeasurable love and a broad-minded embrace. They have forged invisible wings for them, allowing them to soar over obstacles. Six parent representatives expressed their heartfelt gratitude through moving recitations and presented the school with a banner, symbolizing the unity between parents and the school.
Flowers are grateful for the rain that nurtures their growth; eagles are grateful for the sky that allows them to soar; and students, are grateful for their teachers. It is through their guidance that they have been able to navigate the ocean of knowledge and learn important life lessons through ups and downs. Student representatives offered flowers to all their teachers as a token of their gratitude.
The future is already here, and technological innovation has opened Pandora’s box, presenting us with new opportunities and challenges. Society is changing rapidly, with each passing day. As young SUIS students, they should embrace determination, grounding themselves in fundamental subjects, and build a solid foundation for exploring cutting-edge technology in this fast-changing environment. They must be brave enough to face challenges, responsibly and moderately utilize technology, and grasp its leading role, becoming the guardians of their future home. They will be proud of SUIS now, and SUIS will be proud of them in the future.
May our graduates, in the future, expand the reputation of their alma mater through their extensive knowledge, good manners, civilized behavior, elegant speech, broad minds, and loving hearts, along with their outstanding achievements. Their alma mater will always be their strong support and spiritual home. “In the face of strong winds and towering waves, we will set sail and conquer the vast sea.” The teachers sincerely hope that SUIS students will bravely face challenges and achieve even greater success on their new journey of learning.
