“Walk, walk, let’s walk together…”
On October 12th, the LSP students of SUIS Pudong Campus set off on a joyful autumn excursion. With their backpacks on their shoulders and the sun rising, they embarked on a journey filled with singing and laughter. Like cheerful little birds, the children wholeheartedly enjoyed the beauty and delight that the golden autumn brought to us.

GRADE 2

As summer’s warmth lingers and autumn’s colors begin to captivate our senses, our G2 students eagerly anticipated their autumn adventure. Today, accompanied by spinning wheels of excitement, they set off early to a charming farm in Songjiang.

Observing the heavy ears of rice swaying in the fields, our students enthusiastically baked cakes, immersing themselves in the tranquil atmosphere that whispered “fragrant rice foretells a bountiful year, while the chorus of frogs serenades the land.”

In the fields, they energetically pulled weeds and picked vegetables, creating a scene reminiscent of times when “young descendants hadn’t yet learned to plough and weave, but they happily worked beneath mulberry trees, learning to grow melons.”

The farm’s array of delightful animals became the best companions for our students. Others engaged in pastoral games, resulting in a joyful atmosphere filled with laughter and the scent of blooming flowers.

GRADE 3

Filled with excitement and curiosity, our students embarked on their autumn journey. They marveled at unique glass creations, delved into the history and artistry of glassmaking, and admired the transparency and vibrant colors of glass. The Glass Museum offered an engaging “Find the 26 Alphabets” game, which enthralled the students with a 100% participation rate, showcasing their spirit of enthusiastic exploration.
Watching skilled artisans craft lifelike glass penguins and flowers in person left the students’ curiosity satiated and their eyes wide in awe.
At lunch, the grade’s teachers and students gathered around dining tables, creating a jovial atmosphere akin to a grand feast. After their meal, the students diligently tidied up their tables, displaying exceptional discipline. This autumn journey will be a cherished memory for our students.

GRADE 4

With a gentle autumn breeze and radiant sunlight, our G4 students embarked on an educational adventure at Ji Gao Rabbit Hole Fun Park. The park featured gravity-defying rides, and the students engaged in various team-building activities, including scientific exploration and leisurely entertainment.
During lunchtime, the warm sun cast a golden glow upon the grass, where our students spread out picnic blankets and enjoyed a carefully prepared meal from their parents. They shared food and happiness, and after the meal, the students continued to bask in the warm autumn sun, savoring the beauty of the season.

GRADE 5

The refreshing autumn breeze guided the G5 students to the picturesque Little Orange Farm. In the serene bamboo grove, they briefly paused to connect with nature, selecting leaves that ignited their creative spark. These leaves were used to embark on a “Leaf Art” project, with some creating their names, while others crafted feline hairdos and even assembled a “Forest Cottage.”
They ventured into the orange grove, transforming into budding harvesters. Each child meticulously selected oranges from the trees, each hoping to pluck the sweetest fruit. With bags filled with oranges in various shades of yellow and green, the students felt a profound sense of accomplishment.
After a delightful lunch, the students, under the guidance of their tour leader, had the opportunity to interact with various small animals – pearl birds, little hamsters, Dutch pigs, and baby rabbits. The encounter between the students and these charming creatures created a heartwarming tableau, bathed in the golden rays of the sun.
Every step taken is a precious gem, and time gathers them to create a treasure. In the beautiful childhood of these students, these moments shine brightly. Let’s eagerly anticipate the next autumn outing together!
