On a sunny spring day, the children of LSP started their spring field trips with their teachers.

The first grade went to the Ocean Aquarium. The students visited rare fish and endangered species from all over the world. They warmly greeted salamanders, harbor seals and penguins. Students looked up at the fish happily. The fish aquarium also has one of the longest underwater tunnels in the world, which made the children feel as if they were immersed in it.

The second and third-grade students went to Wild Animal Park which helped them better understand their topic in Theme class. They took the park bus and visited the areas where the animals were. Excited cheers were heard. The children watched a wonderful performance at Sun Park. In addition to the excitement, the children also read the animal introductions carefully, learning and discussing the habits of different animals.

The fourth and fifth-grade students have suspended group outdoor activities several times in the past three years because of the pandemic. This time they went to Happy Valley and this thoroughly released the children’s energy.

In the afternoon, the students sat in the group and had a picnic together, while enjoying the spring scenery. They shared their well-prepared little meals, talked about the exotic animals they had seen that morning, and had an enjoyable moment. They took deep breaths and smelled the fragrance of blooming flowers and grass in the afternoon while the sunshine touched their innocent faces.

It was indeed an amazing way to celebrate spring!
