Dear Parents,

We were very excited this week to see the beginning of our ‘Student Voice’ programme. It is essential in this day and age that we offer our students the opportunities to develop their soft skills. Increasingly, universities and employees are looking beyond grades – they recognize the student holistically – seeing what they have brought to their community in order to see how they will impact the university community and inded the world

We commend all of the successful applicants and look forward to hearing your ideas in the future. Next week, we will be interviewing for the Head Boy and Head Girl positions – the first time in our history that we will have such posts.

Spanish News

Before the summer holidays Valeria Galvan Sotres (IG1) wrote an article for an online magazine which was published by the Chinese office for the Ministry of Education for Spain. The magazine was published and is distributed to schools, educational organizations, consulates, universities, etc. So Valeria’s article about our school trip to Madrid can now be read not just in China but all around the world. It is in Spanish – the title reads ‘An unforgettable week in Madrid’. Valeria talks about our experience visiting a school in Madrid and how much we learnt from it.
