Dear Parents,

It was fantastic to see so many of you in attendance at our Open Day. The feedback from you has been very positive around this informative morning. It was very pleasing to see such a dedicated group of teachers and parents working together for the students. It is so important that we have this three way contact- our staff are always available to answer your queries and will do so within 48 hours. Please find attached useful  contact details. Please note that our staff are asked not to communicate with parents via wechat or similar social media channels.

Teachers’ Appreciation Day

The teachers started off their day by being presented with a flower from the students. Today more than any other day the students showed their appreciation. The teachers will enjoy a cross stream meal in further celebration this evening. On behalf of the students and parents, we thank our teachers for all they do!

Khan Academy: please add your son/daughter’s relevant coach if you haven’t already done so.

Music News

This week a letter was sent home with students detailing the following extra-curricular after-school activities:

To further support students’ development of musical understanding and skills, SUIS Pudong will offer three after school music ensembles to its primary and secondary students this year: Lower Primary Choir, Upper Primary Choir and Chamber Strings (open to both primary and secondary students). Our ensembles meet once a week to rehearse. These music ensembles are intended for pupils who are looking for a challenge to play a range of music including the works of the great composers and musicians. These groups will perform in the Christmas and summer concerts.
