During the autumn season, the days turn gold, the sky becomes clear, and the annual sports day, just like a grand appointment, was held on November5th as scheduled! This sports day is not only a joyful event, but also a grand meeting to show the students’ sportsmanship.
At the opening ceremony, students dressed in their own house uniforms, performed martial arts in the exciting music. Their neat movements and loud slogans fully demonstrated the positive and energetic spirit of SUISers.
In the competition, all the students of grade three competed together on the field and took part in the standing long jump, one-minute rope skipping, sandbags throwing, 50-metre running and the other competitions. Every jump, every sprint, every throw, is the best interpretation of the sports spirit. The 50-metre grade finals, the class relay race and the tug of war are the highlights of all the events, igniting the passion of all the students with cheering and applause. The grade three athletes gave full play to their strength and potential and worked hard for the honour of the class.
In the afternoon, the whole playground became a sea of joy with all kinds of fun sports activities. “Spartak “, “Corner ball”, “Sail in the same boat” and other activities let the students play sports in the joy and collaborate in the sports, both exercise the body and enhance the friendship between students.
After the end of the competitions, school leaders and teachers of the sports team awarded the certificates to the winning individuals and groups, the winning athletes were smiling radiantly with joy and pride. The sweat casting glory medals, and the smiles engraving bright glory. They used their own sweat and efforts to get this honour.
