On 30th of March, In the “Crown of Dreams, New Boat Rowing Elite Race” hosted by New Boat Sports, our SUIS Pudong Lions Rowing Team made its debut, showcasing extraordinary strength and charm. We fielded two teams: a men’s coxless four and a mixed coxless four. Faced with formidable opponents, our students did not shrink back but met the challenge with passion and unwavering belief.
During the competition, the team’s coordination was seamless, their skills refined. They continuously broke records, achieving excellent results. This was not only a testament to their individual capabilities but also a perfect display of their teamwork. With each stroke, they danced with the wind; with each acceleration, they challenged the waves. Their efforts added wings to their dreams, letting them soar higher and further. Through sweat and effort, they embodied SUIS Pudong’s eight qualities of “striving for excellence and pursuing greatness”, showing the spirit of courage and challenge.
Behind the competition were countless days and nights of hard training and the touching stories of their mutual encouragement and growth. Like lions cutting through the waves, they moved forward fearlessly, crafting their own legends through action.
Looking ahead, the SUIS Pudong Lions Rowing Team will continue to set sail, enhancing their strength and bringing glory to our school and the sport of rowing. Their story will inspire many to bravely pursue their dreams, challenge themselves, and write their own chapters of brilliance.
