On 6 June, the 2026 SUIS Dragon-Lion Bowl Flag Football Invitational kicked off at Shanghai Industrial and Commercial Foreign Language College.

One field. Twelve schools. Thirty teams. Four divisions.
Throughout the day, the pitch came alive with whistles, passes, sprints, dodges and touchdowns. It was a fast-paced celebration of teamwork, strategy and young athletic spirit.

This time marked a special first for SUIS Pudong, as we took the lead in organising and hosting a flag football league. Bringing together teams from different schools, the Dragon-Lion Bowl became more than a tournament. It became a shared space for competition, connection and growth.

Our SUIS Pudong players also delivered an impressive performance. The Primary Division B team claimed the championship, securing the final with a remarkable shutout victory. The Primary Division A team also played with confidence and determination, finishing in fourth place.

From hosting the tournament to stepping onto the podium, from building the platform to playing our part on the field, SUIS Pudong made a strong and memorable start in flag football this summer.
