Students from SUIS Pudong recently achieved outstanding results in two international mathematics events: the American Mathematics Competition (AMC8) and the Math Kangaroo Team (MKT) challenge.

In the AMC8, our students achieved:
1 Global Perfect Score, 1 Global Honor Roll of Distinction, 3 Global Distinction awards, 4 Global Top 10%, 8 Global Top 25%, and 14 Global Achievement Roll recognitions, demonstrating strong mathematical foundations and excellent logical thinking.

In the Math Kangaroo Team (MKT) challenge, SUIS Pudong students also performed remarkably well, receiving:
20 National Top Gold, 36 National Gold, 15 National Silver, 39 National Bronze, and 27 National Excellence awards.
Among them, 17 students qualified for the G1–3 Math Kangaroo Asia Championship, and 39 students qualified for the G4–6 Asia Championship.

Both the AMC and Math Kangaroo are internationally recognized mathematics activities that encourage students to develop problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and a lasting interest in mathematics.
