From May 9–10, Grade 8 students, parents, and teachers gathered at the Guangming Garden Hotel in Chongming to celebrate a meaningful collective birthday themed “Strive with Heart, Step into the Future.” With a wide range of activities, students, parents, and teachers came together to enjoy a heartwarming and unforgettable time.
From indoor sports like aerobics, curling, and frisbee to a lively evening of music, magic, and heartfelt speeches, the event was filled with joy and reflection. he “Letters from Home” reading segment added a touching emotional depth. The following morning, the parent-child sports day blended speed and warmth through fun and intimate activities.
More than just a birthday celebration, it was a powerful lesson in growing up. It deepened friendships, strengthened family bonds, and enriched the connection between students and teachers.
