In 2024, the SUIS Pudong Lions Rowing Team has once again made their mark with dedication and determination, writing a new chapter of excellence.
This term, at the Pudong New District Sunshine Sports League, the Lions showcased exceptional skill and teamwork, winning first place in both the primary and middle school categories. Their synchronised strokes on the water were a testament to their hard work and unity, with every effort reflecting their courage, resilience, and focus.
Adding to these achievements, Miumiu Wei shone brightly at the Hong Kong Rowing Championships, securing second place in the U19 category. Her outstanding performance and unwavering determination not only brought pride to SUIS Pudong but also marked a significant milestone in her rowing journey.
At the recently concluded 2024 National Indoor Rowing Finals, the Lions pushed their limits yet again. Miumiu Wei claimed first place in both the 500m and 2000m events, setting new national records in the process. Her triumphs reflect not just individual excellence but the collective strength of the SUIS Pudong Lions Rowing Team.
Behind these achievements lies relentless training, team spirit, and a shared pursuit of excellence. The Lions embody the SUIS spirit of “reaching new heights and striving for greatness,” encouraging each other to grow and persevere.
Since its establishment in 2008, SUIS Pudong has been committed to blending Chinese and Western educational philosophies, fostering globally-minded individuals with holistic capabilities. The Lions’ success is a testament to this vision, as they balance academic growth with personal and social development.
As the SUIS Pudong Lions Rowing Team continues their journey, they inspire others to dream boldly, challenge limits, and pursue excellence. Let us cheer for their achievements and look forward to even greater victories ahead!
