On September 14th, in this golden autumn season, the Kangqiao campus welcomed its first Autumn Fair, organised by our newly established joint whole campus PSG team. This highly anticipated event attracted more than 1,000 students and parents, making it an unforgettable celebration in Pudong campus life.
From the early stages of preparation, the PSG led all working groups in devoting themselves fully to the meticulous planning and arrangements. From venue layout and equipment testing to the careful design of the event flow, every detail was thoughtfully considered. Lily, the Head of the Event Group, and Nico, the Head of the Procurement Group, led the supplier teams, working tirelessly into the night before the event to ensure that all amusement facilities and venue setups were flawlessly in place, laying the groundwork for a successful event the next day.

On September 14th, the Kangqiao campus was filled with an atmosphere of joy. Children excitedly ran across the lawn, playing on water slides, while bubbles floated in the breeze from bubble machines, immersing the children in endless happiness. Parents leisurely strolled through the market, where 40 vendors offered unique creative goods and authentic foods. Each booth in the marketplace attracted many guests who stopped to taste and admire. With a variety of special snacks, handicrafts, and creative products, the fair became a vibrant and diverse experience, captivating both parents and children alike.
One of the notable features of this event was the participation of student volunteers for the first time. Not only did they enthusiastically engage in various service tasks, but through this valuable experience, they also felt the joy and sense of achievement from contributing to the school community. Whether maintaining order at the ticket gate or assisting customers at the second-hand uniform sales booth, the student volunteers demonstrated a high level of responsibility and service spirit. Throughout the fair, they learned teamwork and experienced the satisfaction of earning rewards through their own efforts.
In addition, volunteers from the catering, ticketing, balloon, and second-hand uniform sales teams worked diligently under the scorching sun, providing attentive and detailed services. The catering team prepared fresh and delicious meals, ensuring participants could enjoy carefully crafted food while having fun. The ticketing team efficiently managed the entry process, ensuring the smooth operation of the event. The balloon team brought endless laughter to the children, while the second-hand uniform sales team not only raised funds for the event but also offered parents a practical and eco-friendly option.

The success of the event was also thanks to the full support of the school’s teachers and staff. Not only did they assist quietly behind the scenes, but they also actively participated in maintaining order and assisting the volunteer teams on-site, ensuring the smooth running of the entire fair. The enthusiasm and dedication of the teachers added a unique warmth and cohesion to the event.
The SUIS Pudong Autumn Fair was not only a joyful community event but also a vivid demonstration of campus unity. Thanks to the hard work of the volunteers and the strong support of the school’s teachers and staff, the entire event—from preparation to conclusion—was carried out in an orderly manner, showcasing the solidarity and cooperation of the Pudong family. It was this spirit of working together that made the Autumn Fair such a success and left all participants with precious and beautiful memories.
We sincerely thank every volunteer, student, and staff member who contributed to the event, and we look forward to everyone coming together again to create more unforgettable campus moments in future activities!
