The 27th of October was an exceptional and meaningful day for the students, parents and teachers of the third grade. In the morning, the Parents’ Open Day regular programme of classroom observations and subject teacher exchanges with parents were held. Parents were shown the students’ daily school learning situation, so that parents can understand the characteristics of their students and their current situation of learning and behaviour. Through this activity, we achieved closer cooperation between home and school, established better family education, and jointly cultivated children’s good learning habits and behavioural virtues.

 

 

In the afternoon, the “Parent-Child Inheritance of Traditional Chinese Learning” Reporting Performance was kicked off in everyone’s expectation.

As the four young hosts took the stage, the wonderful programmes were presented to us one by one.

 

 

Children’s Wushu “Standards for Being a Good Student and Child”, beautiful red, yellow and white clothes, the movements that highlights the profundity of Chinese Wushu.

For the wisdom of the ancient sages and the spirit of continuous creation, the whole audience saluted.

 

 

The students of Class 3B sang and danced the song “Ballad of the Gentleman”, which expressed the modest gentleman, the graceful young man, and the elegance appropriately.

 

 

Class 3C’s song and dance “Xianghe Song” shows us the glamour of Han Dynasty song and dance art, which has a profound folk song and dance art heritage.

 

 

Class 3A’s “Chinese Characters, Chinese People” tells us, as children of China, we should write good Chinese characters, be good Chinese people and pass on Chinese civilisation.

 

 

Class 3D’s “Sound Rhythm Enlightenment” has beautiful rhymes. It has been passed down for more than 2,000 years and still has a strong vitality today.

 

 

In this event, the four Parents’ Committee members carefully planned and organised, parents actively participated in the event, the classes within the grade presented four very wonderful programmes.

“A Dream of Wonder”, “Folding the Willow” and “Porcelain” Mothers interpreted the rigidity and flexibility of Chinese dance with their dances, which are graceful and elegant.

 

 

The song and dance recitation “State of Manners” sang about high morals, etiquette and traditional virtues, and extolled the Chinese culture of “Ancient Civilisation, State of Manners”.

 

 

The water town of Jiangnan, with white walls and black tiles, small bridges and flowing water, is the most beautiful “Painted Jiangnan”. Mothers and fathers interpreted the charm of classical culture with softness and elegance. Each Chinese dress exudes unique charm, elegance and atmosphere, reflecting the inheritance and expression of culture.

 

 

The “Dancing Assembly” pushed the programme to the climax, with martial arts, lion dance, and the atmosphere of humour of the dads and moms boiling over the whole audience, with cheers and applause at the scene.

 

 

Finally, the curtain came down in a very powerful chorus of “Ode to the Yellow Emperor”.

 

 

The national culture parent-child heritage performance was a complete success. The wonderful programmes not only gave everyone a feast of sight and hearing, but also established a cultural heritage link, and touched everyone present, let everybody enchanted for a long time and enjoyed it.
