When was the Last Summer Fair?
Finally, the exciting SUIS Pudong IS PSG Summer Fair took place on September 1, after 4 years!
No matter whether G1 new students or students from G2-G9, all joined this long-expected and special Summer Fair which is a classic IS PSG event. When the event was planned, we added more facilities or Water Games, and especially prepared a stage for all students to show their amazing talents voluntarily.
On the stage, SUIS Pudong IS students confidently showed their talents including Piano, Violin, Celo, Drums, Traditional Dance, and Duet. All performances were amazing and fabulous.
Parents and students were attracted to the vendors’ and PSG booths’ of delicious food and academy-related products. Some students didn’t leave the Water Game area even one minute! Whilst on the booths run by our own students, little sales were a precious experience by the student’s dynamic sales skills. All these helped new students to build their friendships and sense of community on the first day of school.
With the laughter coming from the water game facilities, nice smells from the food vendor booths, and the sounds of music from the talent show, SUIS Pudong Kangqiao Campus was a sea of happiness. We believe that it impressed every student with such a special first school day of this semester, which made them love our school more, make more new friends, and give a fantastic first impression of our school’s diversified culture.
To organize such a big event like the Summer Fair, it requires so many efforts. PSG members started to communicate with the school management from last semester, and started to prepare in the middle of August when others still enjoyed their Summer holidays. The number of students who joined this year is unprecedented because of the new EWU Grade 1. We sincerely thank all the support from school, contributions from PSG members and volunteers and the understanding from all the IS parents.
