This week has been our ISP Friendship Week. We all have our friends who make each day special. We play, we meet them, talk with them and have fun together. But what actually does ‘FRIEND’ mean? We found some very interesting explanations for this. FRIEND is a person who:

FRIENDS
Fight for you.

Respect you.

Include you.

Encourage you.

Need you.

Delight you.

Stand by you.

During this special week, our students learnt and shared a lot of ideas of friendship through different activities. Let’s take a look at what they have enjoyed.

Friendship Corner

In our Friendship Corner, students were invited to write something nice and warm to their friends, classmates or teachers on some heart-shaped cards. When they finished writing, they put the messages onto the Friendship Wall so that everyone would see these amazing words and wishes.

Friendship Bracelets

All students in primary made some fancy bracelets for their friends and themselves. They put their sincere wishes together using colourful beads. Sharing beautiful bracelets from one to another made them feel so delighted.

Friendship Murals

It was such nice weather this week so we did some Friendship Murals in the field during lunch recess. We saw many fantastic drawings and messages on the murals where students shared their ideas about what friendship looks like and how they can be kind to each other.

Friendship Week Dress-up

On Friday, everyone in ISP were encouraged to dress in pink or purple to celebrate Friendship Week. How nice they looked in pink and purple! How lovely their smiles are!

Our Friendship Week has ended,

but our Friendships will be forever.

友谊周结束了,

但友谊长存!
