Anti-Bullying Day is a day when people wear a pink, blue or purple shirt to symbolise a stand against bullying. It is an idea that originated in Canada and has since spread across the world.
On Wednesday February 28, 2018, SUIS Pudong successfully held our first Anti-Bullying Day. Teachers and students all dressed in pink or purple to support this event. There were several different activities to help students better understand what bullying is and what to do if there are incidents of bullying around them.
Students in the class leant the Anti-Bullying motto WITS. It is an internationally recognized statement for confronting bullying
W – Walk away
I – Ignore
T – Talk it out
S – Seek help
