Anti-Bullying Day is a day when people wear a pink, blue or purple shirt to symbolise a stand against bullying. It is an idea that originated in Canada and has since spread across the world.

On Wednesday February 28, 2018, SUIS Pudong successfully held our first Anti-Bullying Day. Teachers and students all dressed in pink or purple to support this event. There were several different activities to help students better understand what bullying is and what to do if there are incidents of bullying around them.

Students in the class leant the Anti-Bullying motto WITS. It is an internationally recognized statement for confronting bullying

W – Walk away

I – Ignore

T – Talk it out

S – Seek help

Pink T-shirt design:

Students designed their own pink shirt with Anti-bullying logos and words. Teachers also placed them on display around the classroom to show our school community

 

Parade:

Students designed their own class giant T shirt for the parade. They are absolutely very proud with all of their work. It is also very exciting to see the whole fieldd of SUIS Pudong campus is full of pink colour. Teachers and students also put their signature on the board to support anti-bullying practices.

Watching a Movie 《Wonder》

Teachers and students watched the movie 《wonder》together in the auditorium. Students all enjoyed the movie and some showed tears during touching scenes. It told all of us that we need to be kind and friendly with others.
